Just when you think you have life all planned out, God reminds us who's really in control. Thursday, April 1st, during Kelli's final pregnancy doctor's appointment we learned that Kelli's water had broke. That meant a trip to the hospital and preparation for having the baby, a week earlier than we expected. But as we know, God won't give us more than we can handle, and what he gave us was a beautiful baby girl, Reagan Jane Leighty, at 5:05 p.m. She was 7 pounds 10 ounces, 21 inches long, and 100% adorable. Both mother and daughter are doing well. We are grateful to those who have kept our family in your thoughts and prayers during this time.
"Reagan, say hello to your family."
Ian says hello to mommy and for the first time his new sister.

Happy daddy.

Close up with Reagan.

Spending that much time in a hospital room can do strange things to people. Either daddy is really excited or just strange.

Going home, Monday morning.
