Happy Baptismal Birthday, Ian!

We celebrated Ian's baptismal birthday today by lighting his candle and singing the song "Father Welcomes", which was sung at his baptism. Brownies and ice cream were then enjoyed by all.

Fun in the Sun

After a loooong winter, the sun finally came out and warmed it up enough for us to have some fun times outside.

All boy - playing in the dirt, mowing the lawn, and wanting to get ahold of the hose

Ian and Grandpa watching Aunt Lauren run super fast at her track meet.

We had a fun time at the park with cousin Hannah and friend Brooke after a walk and a picnic lunch.

He is Risen!

Easter was a glorious celebration of our Lord's resurrection and a wonderful time spent with family.

Hannah and Ian hunted for eggs around our house. Ian actually knew what to do thanks to a trial run at Great-Grandpa & Great-Grandma's the day before.

A delicious bunny cake made with love by Mom was enjoyed by all.

Windy City Spring Break

Ian and Kelli accompanied Matthew to Chicago for work. We visited and hung out with our fabulous friends in-between his donor meetings.
After dodging the Shamrock Shuffle downtown, we met up with Travis & Kristin for brunch and then relaxed back at their condo. Ian and Goliath had fun playing with each other and sharing toys.

At the Luedtkes, Ian had a wonderful time playing with Simon and looking out the window with Norah. Kelli and Matthew enjoyed the relaxing time with Eric & Becky and the delicious meatloaf for dinner.

After removing Ian's hat, static electricity took over and gave Ian quite the hairdo.

We enjoyed our time out at Dave & Elizabeth's eating lava chicken and watching Ian & Henry interact with one another.

Kelli & Ian hung out at the hotel pool in the mornings to pass the time and have a change of scenery. Ian loved splashing, kicking, and floating in the water.

We were even blessed to see a full rainbow.

THANK YOU also to the Busserts and Zielkes who opened their homes to us for fun and fellowship.

Life and times with the Leightys

What another fun filled week. Kelli captured some fun moments with Ian.

Lately, Ian has been having fun playing around and underneath the buffet stools.

Saturday we attended the wedding for one of Kelli's cousins. Congrats Adam and Amy!

We had fun on Sunday with the Leighty family and celebrating Nancy's birthday.

Kelli's brother Mark was in town this weekend from Kansas City. We had a good time hanging out. Ian might of had that most fun though. He enjoys his time with Uncle Mark.
